JUST ANNOUNCED: Friday, September 03 A Moscow Evening of Jazz and Classical Music - Delightful Friday Evening Concert and Reception at the Russian Cultural Center. We cordially requests the pleasure of your company at a delightful night of classical and jazz music, including a reception to meet ICDC members attending the performance. The program features Violin Concerto No. 1 in D Minor, by Hungarian Composer Ernst von Dohnányi and other classical and lively jazz music. Start your evening with a warm and friendly reception of special appetizers with Russian caviar as well as wine, champagne, and Russian spirits served at the cash bar. Afterwards, sit back and relax to an intimate performance of Elizaveta Kopelman and Rafael Javadov. Friday, September 10 Hilton Rooftop Live Jazz and Latin Dance Soiree under the Stars (Rain or Shine) to the sounds of Sin Miedo. Celebrate summer with us at the Hilton rooftop with an evening of live jazz and dancing under the stars amidst the Washington skyline with illuminated monuments at a distance. The lively Sin Miedo band will be entertaining and playing their well-known Latin infused beats for the evening. After the live jazz performance, dance the night away to the many exciting variety of genres the band plays. You are welcome to come on your own or invite your friends and colleagues to join us! Sunday, September 12 Mimosas in Paris with Chanel: Mimosa Reception followed by 2010 Fall Fashion Presentation at Chevy Chase Neiman Marcus. Just in time for the fall, we are pleased to present to you a fashion seminar at Neiman Marcus featuring the hottest looks for fall 2010. Wednesday, September 15 Jazz Concert and Dancing under the stars in the garden at Dumbarton House in Georgetown (Rain or shine) - Includes free admission to Dumbarton House Museum. This is a wonderful opportunity to discover and explore one of Georgetown's most historic mansions in as you make new friends while enjoying the music of our jazz band playing in the garden. Enjoy an evening with us at the Embassy of France while learning how to dance the Viennese swing and Cha Cha! No prior experience or a dance partner is necessary to sign up. Come on your own or with friends for an evening of dancing to make new friends and taste French wine. Also featured will be chefs from various well-known local restaurants, who will present a sampling of their own creations to accompany the evening's delights.
