We are pleased to announce the formation of seven committees to help plan and execute club activities in 2006. This is a great opportunity to share your interests with a truly wonderful group of people with whom you have things in common.
If you are interested in volunteering or joining a committee, please contact us. When you contact us, please include background information about yourself, including any prior experience, as well as in what capacity you would like to be involved. You can either volunteer for all club activities in general or take a more active role by joining one or more committees.

The Executive Committee is responsible for overseeing all aspects of ICDC events and programs and work with established committees to further club goals. The Executive Committee is comprised of the chairpersons of each of the committees.
The Cultural Committee's primary goal is to organize various cultural activities for ICDC members. The committee works with museums, embassies, and other cultural organizations in town to plan its activities. The committee is also involved with overseeing the following seven black-tie galas we organize each year:
- Spring Viennese Ball
- Spring Gala
- Summer Ball
- Fall Gala and Masquerade Ball
- Fall Viennese Ball
- Holiday Gala
- New Year's Eve Gala
Other responsibilities of the Cultural Committee include

If you enjoy international affairs and have the desire to share your interest with others, the international affairs committee is for you. Some of the events and activities organized by the International Affairs Committee include:

• Public Policy Discussions
• Act as a liaison between ICDC and public policy institutes
Do you like the outdoors? If you would like to organize sports and outdoor events, you will love being involved with all the diverse outdoor and sporting activities planned by the Outdoor Events and Sports Committee. The following are examples of the types of events organized by the Outdoors Events and Sports Committee:

The Social Events committee organizes social events for ICDC members, including our monthly happy hours. Other events and activities organized by the Social Events Committee include:

The volunteer committee assists in the execution of all club activities including our volunteer events at the Capital Area Food bank as well as charitable events. The volunteer committee assists ICDC committees to plan and organize events. Other responsibilities of the Volunteer Committee include:
• Volunteer to help at events (check-in, setup, etc.,)
• Corporate sponsorship for activities and programs
• Fundraising/Silent Auction
• Food bank volunteer initiative
• Disaster relief and charitable events |
