Event Description

We have the best seats in town to watch the fireworks display that is a part of the annual Cherry Blossom festival. Watching the fireworks from the Potomac River is a truly unforgettable and magical experience.

Depart from the Alexandria waterfrints and enjoy illuminated monuments of Washington along with sweeping views of the DC skyline at a distance as you indulge in a 3 course dinner with dessert and enjoy wine from the cash bar. You will be seated in a special section of the yacht reserved exclusively for ICDC members. The yacht is fully climate controlled but during the cruise you will have access to the open-air outdoor deck so dress warmly to enjoy the views of DC under the stars! As the Washington nightlife comes to life at a distance, you can socialize, make new friends, and enjoy the views before returning back to the dock at the conclusion of our private cruise.

PLEASE NOTE: Kindly note that it is your responsibility to arrive on time at the designated meeting location. Traffic delays and road closures are possible. Please give your self plenty of time to arrive at the meeting location. If you are delayed due to any reason and miss the boat, we are unable to issue you a refund.

WEATHER NOTICE: The boat's cabin is enclosed and climate controlled but we suggest a warm coat so that you have the option to enjoy the views from the open air deck if you so desire.

Please also note that the fireworks organized as a part of the annual Cherry Blossom Festival is beyond our control. We will cruise rain or shine but we are unable to offer refunds in the unlikely event the fireworks are canceled or postponed for any reason.

When you arrive, please request to be seated in the special section of the yacht for ICDC members so that you can enjoy the company of ICDC members as you enjoy a delightful cruise.

Please arrive promptly at 5:45 so that you can come aboard the boat at 6:00 PM. Please allow time for road closures and delays associated with the Cherry Blossom festival. You MUST arrive at 6:00 PM for registration as we WILL leave at 6:15 PM SHARP. No refunds will be offered if you are late or fail to arrive at the designated meeting location for any reason.

6:00 PM Check-in starts at the designated meeting location outlined below. Please arrive on time and allow yourself enough time to locate the meeting location.*

6:15 PM Boat departs the dock.

We will return back at the dock following the cruise around 9:30 PM. Please note that cruise time including the exact time of arrival and departure may change to accommodate security and traffic considerations on the river. Please check this Web page 24 hours prior the event for the most up-to-date information.

Map/Parking

Wilson Bridge

Once you have crossed the Woodrow Wilson Bridge (coming from MD), or just before crossing it (coming from VA), take the Alexandria exit for Route 1 North.
Once on Route 1, go four traffic lights to Duke Street. Make a right onto Duke Street.
Once on Duke Street, follow until it ends.
At the end of Duke Street make a left onto The Strand.
Once on The Strand go about half a block.
A public pay parking lot leading to our pier will be to your right.
The entrance gate to our pier is on the water's edge to the left as you are facing the river from the parking lot.

14th Street Bridge South Bound

Once on the 14th Street Bridge heading south, take Exit 10B, Mount Vernon-Reagan National Airport. This will put you on the George Washington Parkway Heading South.
Important: You will NOT be able to access this exit from the HOV lanes crossing the bridge.
If you choose to use the HOV lanes, continue on 395 South and take Exit 8C, Crystal City-Alexandria, Route 1 South. At this point follow the Crystal City Directions.
Once on the Parkway, continue past the Airport into Old Town Alexandria.
Once in Old Town, the Parkway becomes Washington Street.
Stay on Washington Street until you see a statue of a confederate soldier in the center of the street. This is the intersection of Prince and Washington Streets.
Go one more block south to Duke Street. Make a left onto Duke Street
Once on Duke Street, follow it till the end.
At the end of Duke Street make a left onto The Strand.
Once on The Strand go about a half a block.
A public pay parking lot leading to our pier will be to your right.
The entrance gate to our pier is on the water's edge to the left as you are facing the river from the parking lot.
