Event Description

The International Club of DC along with the Consulate General of France in Washington DC and the French-American Chamber of Commerce cordially request the pleasure of your company at "Alors on Danse", a vintage French Music and dance party!

Join us on your own or with friends in the French Embassy ballroom for the rare opportunity to dance the night away to classic French music from the 70s and 80s. Dress up in vintage inspired attire and join us for an evening of dancing and good company!

As you meet ICDC and make new friends dance the night away as you enjoy a buffet of light appetizers in the purest French tradition along with drinks offered at the cash bar. Admission includes one complimentary drink.

"Allons Enfants de la Party", it is time to dance again! Please note that all attendees must be 21 and over.

Event Agenda (May change)

The event starts at 7:30PM and features a cash bar so please bring cash with you when you arrive. The event concludes at midnight.

Light food will be served at the beginning so please arrive promptly at 7:30 PM so you can enjoy the festivities. Kindly note that the event does not include dinner, so please plan on having dinner before or after the event. Please note that the event is presented as a dance party and not a seated event.

Due to security considerations at the embassy, we are unable to accept walk-ins. You must reserve a ticket in advance to attend this event.

Map/Parking

If driving, street parking will be available on Reservoir Road and throughout the surrounding neighborhoods. Also, there is a pay lot located across the street at Georgetown University Hospital. Due to security considerations, parking WILL NOT be available on the grounds of the Embassy of France.

If using public transportation, the D6 Metro Bus towards Sibley Hospital drops off directly in front of the embassy. Due to limited parking, we recommend Uber, public transportation or a cab.

Parking is limited to street parking in the vicinity of the venue. Kindly note that, as is the case in most major cities, the availability of street parking in Washington DC is limited and beyond our control.
