Sunday, May 18, 2008. Fencing Lessons Including Equipment Rentals. Join us for an exciting lesson on swordsmanship and chivalry. The lesson will cover the basics of fencing in a relaxed, fun, and SAFE setting. All equipment will be provided. After the lesson, practice your fencing skills with other attendees. Sunset and Moonlight kayaking on the Potomac & picnic at our Georgetown dock. We have timed one of our popular sunset kayaking sessions at Georgetown to coincide with a full moon to make the experience even more spectacular. Catch the orange colored sun setting for the first half of the trip and the Washington Monument under soft white lights for the last half. Spend an afternoon with ICDC Benefactors and help combat hunger in the Washington DC area. Our volunteer initiative at the Capital Area Food Bank is a wonderful way to help those who are less fortunate while meeting other compassionate ICDC members who care about our community.
