ICDC members spent the afternoon discovering the art, history, and architectural majesty of one of the largest cathedrals of the world. The Washington Cathedral is the highest point in Washington DC, 676 feet above sea level (higher than the Washington Monument), the second largest cathedral in the United States, and the sixth largest in the world. The Washington Cathedral graciously accommodated our group and we enjoyed the in-depth tour of the cathedral. Our group was split to two sections so each group has the opportunity to ask plenty of questions and discover the cathedral.
