We
experienced Washington D.C. from a different
point of view by kayaking on the historic Potomac
River. While kayaking, we saw greenery
and wild life of Roosevelt Island, the
scenery of the Georgetown waterfront, and the
DC skyline. In reclusive niches along the
river's edge, we saw wild herons and turtles
by half hidden logs as we headed back to Georgetown
after a relaxing guided kayak tour.
