We stepped back in time to experience a magical evening at the National Museum of Women in the Arts -- one of the most exquisite venues in Washington DC for an unforgettable Viennese celebration of music, food, wine and dancing. The museum's grand Renaissance Revival building and the elegant grand ballroom and Mezzanine provided the perfect setting to bring to life the timeless elegance of a Viennese Ball, as experienced in Vienna. We are grateful for the efforts of Sandra Milivojevic and Michael Dumlao for the wonderful photographs.

Welcome remarks were delivered by Johann Sattler (political counselor, Embassy of Austria), Sanjaya Hettihewa (President, ICDC) and Clinton Sequeira (Executive Board, ICDC). The brief remarks were followed by a night of dancing to the music of the Con Brio Strings. |
