Event Description

You are invited to the Embassy of Slovenia to dance to a live Slovenian band performing waltzes and other music as you enjoy an evening of Slovenian wine and a dinner buffet of Slovenian delicacies. Celebrate Earth Day with an enchanting evening of Slovenian culture and welcome remarks by His Excellency Ambassador Stanislav Vidovic, the Ambassador of Slovenia to the United States. 




 
To commemorate Earth Day with sustainable electric transportation, Tesla will have a Model S and Model X on display. Tesla product experts will be on hand to answer questions and show you how electric vehicles can fit seamlessly into your lifestyle and test rides will be offered on a first come, first serve basis.



As you meet other ICDC members, dance to the music performed by the Slovenian band "Veseli Godci." This is a wonderful opportunity to discover Slovenia through all your senses while meeting diplomats and ICDC members as you indulge in a dinner buffet feast of traditional Slovenian cuisine prepared by the Embassy chef and masterfully paired with Slovenian wine.

Veseli Godci
The Veseli Godci (Happy Musicians) band has been entertaining crowds by performing authentic Slovenian folk music since 1995. The band is based in Ohio and has over the years performed regularly at various festivals and functions throughout the Midwest and further away on the East coast, spreading the popularity of traditional Slovenian music and Cleveland-style polka throughout the US. 
 
Please note that space at the Embassy of Slovenia is limited and we expect this event to sell out in advance. Please reserve your tickets soon before we are sold out! Kindly note that the event is expected to be very popular and there will be many other guests to enjoy the event with you at the Embassy of Slovenia. Subsequently the event is not a seated event and is presented as a stand-up reception, so you can walk around the embassy, meet other guests, and enjoy the many facets of the event.
