Event Description

Join us on your own or with friends, at the French Embassy to enjoy an evening of music and dancing along with French wine and crepes available for purchase! Let us show you how to dance the Viennese Waltz, Tango, and Salsa even if you have never danced before and join us afterwards to dance as you meet and socialize with ICDC members.

You are welcome to attend on your own or with friends as a dance partner or prior dance experience are not needed to attend! Don't miss this special opportunity to enjoy a night of dancing at the French Embassy!

Delectable French crepes by Cafe Bonaparte will be available for purchase at the event for $8 per crepe. Please remember to bring cash for the crepes and wine available for purchase as the cost of wine and crepes are not included in the cost of admission. The availability of crepes is limited so please make your selections early.

The event is structured as an informal dance soiree to meet, network, and socialize with ICDC members as you enjoy an evening of dancing at the French Embassy. As such kindly note that the event is not presented as a seated event and we kindly ask for your patience and understanding while we work with our event partners to present you a wonderful evening.

Due to enhanced security at the French Embassy, photo ID is REQUIRED for attendance. Please ensure all ticketholders and each guest attending with a ticketholder has valid photo ID. We are unable to issue a refund if you are denied entry due to lack of photo ID. If you purchase more than one ticket please email us the full name of your guest(s)

8:30 PM Ballroom Dance Party
Dance the night away to a mix of Viennese Waltz, tango, salsa and other music. This is a wonderful opportunity to practice dancing and socialize with other attendees. The instructor will be on hand to provide additional instruction and to answer your questions.

Map/Parking

If driving, street parking will be available on Reservoir Road and throughout the surrounding neighborhoods. Also, there is a pay lot located across the street at Georgetown University Hospital. Due to security considerations, parking WILL NOT be available on the grounds of the Embassy of France.

If using public transportation, the D6 Metro Bus towards Sibley Hospital drops off directly in front of the embassy. Due to limited parking, we recommend Uber, public transportation or a cab.

Parking is limited to street parking in the vicinity of the venue.
